Our Board Our board comprises a group of volunteers from the fields of medicine, business, finance, corporate affairs, law and public relations. The team works to raise funds, organise the overseas surgical visits, manage donations in kind and raise the profile of the plight of children with surgical disease in developing countries  | Professor Paddy Dewan Chairman | Paddy is the founder and Chair of the Foundation. Since 1993 he has been involved in 2 to 3 visits per year to various developing countries. His surgical interests include Paediatric Urology and Anorectal abnormalities, and he has a strong track record in research and innovations that enhance quality of care. |  | Gordon Kirk Rotary Representative | Gordon is an Optometrist, who has been in private practice in Melbourne for the past 25 years. Gordon is a Rotary member since 1997 and has been a Past President of the Rotary Club of Northcote. |  | Padma Rao Medical Consultant | Padma is a Consultant Radiologist specialising in Paediatric Radiology currently based in Melbourne, Victoria. Her major role is to recommend and perform appropriate radiological investigations on children who undergo surgery. |  | Maggie Hammerton Secretary | Maggie has extensive experience working in diplomatic related posts for many years, including contact with the Mauritian community. Maggie is the Board Secretary and manages our corporate affairs function. |  | Nicole Russell Solicitor | Nicole is a solicitor working in one of Melbourne's leading commercial litigation teams. She has a passion for board governance and risk management, particularly with respect to the Not-for-Profit board. Nicole uses her legal and strategic expertise in assisting the board's strategic direction. |  | Kim Neuhold Management Consultant | Kim has 30 years experience in management consulting, human resources and senior management. She uses this experience to contribute to the effective operation of the board and chairs the Communications Committee. |
