Maggie has had a great deal of experience working in diplomatic related posts for many years, including contact with the Mauritian community more recently. Maggie manages the Foundation's communications, fundraising and corporate affairs. |

Living and working in Canberra. He has a special interest in gut problems. He has been visiting the third world for over thirty years, and has considerable practical experience of operating in poor countries. |

Bernadette Pitcher is a CPA and until 2009 had her own accounting practice, BMP Accounting Services, for 20 years in Hawthorn.

Hervé is a professional engineer and works in the aerospace industry. As a volunteer Hervé has been working with the Society for Aid to Children Inoperable in Mauritius (SACIM) since its foundation in Australia in 1973 as his father was one of the founding members. Hervé was the treasurer of SACIM Australia from 2003 to 2005, then president from 2005 to 2008, and currently vice-president

Our board comprises a group of volunteers from the fields of medicine, finance, corporate affairs, public relations, finance, information technology.
The team work to assists the organisation of the visiting medical teams, manage donations in kind, and raise funds for the work, while raising the profile of the plight of children with surgical disease in developing countries |
